GOOD TO KNOW:

Can freshmen go? Absolutely! Homecoming is for all Liberty students, families and alumni.

What's the deal with mums? It's a Texas Homecoming tradition! Traditionally, a boy gives his date a mum and girls give their dates a garter. If a girl is going with a group of friends instead of a date, her mom will typically order or make one for her. Girls wear mums and boys wear garters to school on Friday and then to the game. They're personalized with school colors, ribbons, activities and charms — and yes, some get HUGE! They're fun, but completely optional.

Liberty Cheer has made it easy — order by 9/4 for campus pickup 9/9 → Order a Liberty Homecoming mum

Does anything special happen at the game? The Homecoming Court will be introduced, and the Homecoming King & Queen will be crowned on the field.

Is the game just for students? Nope! Parents, families and the entire Redhawk community are invited. Come support our football team and see Red Rhythm, the Liberty Marching Band and Cheer. If you're going to catch one game this year, this is the one!

Which tickets do I need? Purchase Varsity tickets online using the link above. General FISD punch passes are not valid for Varsity football games. Liberty fans will use the entrance on the HOME/South side of the stadium.

 9/12  | đŸĒŠ HOCOCHELLA DANCE

7–10 PM • Liberty HS Gym

đŸŽŸī¸ GET DANCE TICKETS NOW → https://www.onlineschoolfees.com/
Online through 9/9 or purchase at the door.

GOOD TO KNOW:

What do they wear? Cocktail attire. Girls typically wear short formal dresses; boys wear anything from dress slacks and a nice shirt to a full suit.

Do they need a date or a group? Nope! Many students go with friends, but they don't need a date or a group to attend.

Why go? Homecoming isn't really about having a date. It's about spending time with friends and making memories. Whether they're dancing, taking photos or just hanging out, HOCOCHELLA is designed to be fun for everyone.

What's the typical plan? Groups often get together for photos and dinner before the dance, but there's no required plan. Students can simply come to the dance! If they're planning a group dinner, make reservations NOW — large tables fill quickly!

How do tickets work? Tickets are purchased online for $25 through 9/9 or for $30 at the door. There is no physical ticket. Students check in at the door with their student ID. Guests from other schools must also bring ID.

Do parents attend the dance? Nope. Parents, join us Friday night at the football game, then let the kids have Saturday night!

What happens at the dance? STUCO is planning a great night with a professional DJ and themed photo ops. PTSA is providing drinks, light snacks and fun raffle prizes. There will be plenty to do, even if your student isn't a big dancer!

Encourage your child to go. Help us make it great. Let's give our Redhawks a Homecoming they'll remember!
